Internready is currently an early-stage, pre-launch project, not yet a registered company. The data controllers are Kai Shanks and Reuben Northfield, based in Exeter, UK. You can contact us at hello@internready.co.uk.
This policy covers anyone who submits an email address to Internready through a waitlist or "get in touch" form on this website, whether as a prospective student user or a prospective company partner.
Right now, that's deliberately minimal:
We don't currently collect names, CVs, payment details, or any other personal information through this website. That will change once the platform itself launches (matching, profiles, funding applications) and this policy will be updated accordingly before that happens.
Our legal basis for this is your consent: you've actively chosen to submit your email to join a waitlist or request contact.
Unconfirmed sign-ups (for example, an incomplete or unverified form submission) are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed waitlist entries are kept until Internready launches and you either activate an account or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first, and in any case no longer than 24 months from sign-up. If Internready doesn't proceed, we'll delete waitlist data rather than hold it indefinitely.
We don't sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. We may use a third-party email or waitlist management tool (for example, an email service provider) purely to store and send waitlist updates. If so, that provider only processes the data on our instructions.
At the time of writing, this website doesn't yet use any third-party hosting, form, or email-processing service to handle waitlist submissions. The moment it does (for example, a hosting provider or a waitlist/email tool), we'll name that provider here and address any transfer of data outside the UK or EU, before switching it on.
This website does not currently use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts of any kind. If that changes, we'll add a cookie banner and update this section before anything is set on your device.

Internready's waitlist is intended for prospective university students and company representatives, not children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
As Internready moves from waitlist to full platform, this policy will need to grow with it, particularly around profile data, CVs, video content, and funding applications. We'll update the date at the top whenever that happens.
